PACES COURSE

September 24 & 25, 2010

SKMCH & RC is pleased to announce the 9th preparatory course for the PACES exam.  The course is aimed at candidates preparing for the PACES component of the MRCP (UK) exam.

A full PACES exam covering all the stations 1 to 5 will be held on the final day.

Participation will be limited to 10 candidates only.

Sailent Features:
  • Topics like essential history taking and communication skills will be covered in these lectures.
  • Important ethical issues will be discussed in accordance with current UK laws.
  • It also involves practice of scenarios with the tutors.
  • In the end a Mock exam will be held in which the marking sheets used will be those used by the Royal College to give the candidates a feel for the exam and the marking process.
  • Individual feed back will be given following the exam.
  • Candidate to Tutor ratio will be kept at not more than 5:1.
  • Specific training for the new format station – 5 will be covered.

A registration fee of Rs. 15,000/- needs to be deposited for attending the course. Confirmation of acceptance will be made on receipt of the course fee.
