Diploma in Respiratory Therapy
Introduction:
SKMCH&RC offers a one and half years Post-graduate Diploma in Respiratory Therapy. This includes didactic teaching and practical on-the-job training. A respiratory therapist is a trained professional who is an integral part of the Intensive Care Unit team and operates and maintains patients on mechanical ventilation. In addition he/she participates in advance airway management, in providing oxygen therapy, administering aerosolized medication, performing chest physical therapy and pulmonary function testing.
Enrollment Requirement:
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics. A stipend will be paid to the selected candidates and they will be entitled to facilities in accordance with hospital policies. Apply To: Please send your application and CV to

| Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
Introduction:
The Department of Pathology at SKMCH&RC offers a one-year Post-graduate Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, commencing mid September 2007. The trainees will have extensive exposure to all aspects of clinical pathology including molecular pathology. Areas of laboratory management, quality assurance and computer literacy will be stressed upon during the course. Participation in clinical research projects will be encouraged.
A stipend will be paid to the selected candidates, and after confirmation will be entitled to facilities in accordance with hospital policies.
Enrollment Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institute. Those who have passed the exams in all subjects are eligible to apply
- Good computer, interpersonal & communication skills
