15 Year Celebrations of SKMCH&RCThe SKM Tigers Club of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and
Research Centre [SKMCH&RC] organized the 15th birthday of the
Hospital. Nearly 500 students from 35 schools including Beaconhouse
School System, LGS, LACAS, Al-ala, Reliance School, Punjab School,
Pepperdine, Academia De Averroes, Pak Turk International School,
Bloomfield Hall School, Lahore Lyceum, FaMs. Aisha Sana hosted the event and rejuvenated the spirit of the Tigers
Club. The cured cancer patients of the Hospital presented the
inspirational hospital song and proved that cancer is curable. The
Director Marketing and Resource Development, Tariq Azam, welcomed the
students and admired the role students played in the making of the
Hospital and also hoped for their support in the years to come.

Faisal Sultan, Chief Executive Officer, SKMCH&RC, presented shields
and certificates to the winners of the Birthday Card Competition that
had been arranged last month. Thousands of entries were received and
there was tough competition. The children were dazzled to see the famous
national cricketer, Sohail Tanvir who was the chief guest and crowded
around him for an autograph. Students from various schools presented
inspirational songs to express their solidarity with the patients and
the Hospital.
At the end, Dr. Faisal Sultan thanked the
students, teachers and their institutions for attending the event and
hoped that they would continue to work with us with the same zeal and
enthusiasm. He also thanked Ms. Aisha Sana and Sohail Tanvir for taking
out time from their busy schedule for this special event. Dr. Faisal
Sultan also thanks Warid for their support by sending an SMS broadcast
as a part of their corporate social responsibility.uji Foundation, The Lords,
