Radiology at SKMCH&RC is
recognized by the College of
Physicians and Surgeons of
Pakistan for the full four years
of training. Our residents are
encouraged to sit in the
Fellowship of the Royal College
of Radiologists with an
excellent success rate. |

| A full range of diagnostic and
interventional procedures
including tumour embolisations,
hepatobiliary drainage and
vascular and nonvascular
stenting are performed here. The
department is one of the
best-equipped in Pakistan, with
state-of-the-art equipment
including MRI, spiral CT,
doppler ultrasound and
interventional fluoroscopic
facilities and is currently in
the process of upgrading and
replacing all its equipment. |
| The department is staffed by
three full time consultants,
highly trained radiology
technologists and radiology
house staff. |

- CT Scans with spiral imaging [4th generation scanner from Siemens]
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging ( MRI ) and MR Angiography [1.0 Tesla scanner from Siemens]
